After Salman Khan‘s Race 3 failed to make an impact at the box office, there are huge expectations from the Bollywood superstar’s next project ‘Bharat’.

But the project has suffered a big blow as Priyanka Chopra, who was about to start work with Salman Khan for the film, has opted out of the same citing personal reasons.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas

The news which has been doing the rounds on social media for a long time is about Priyanka Chopra dating singer-actor Nick Jonas. There were rumours that the two are about to tie the knot but now it seems there is an amount of truth in the news.

‘Bharat’ director Ali Abbas Zafar took it to twitter to announce that Priyanka Chopra is no more a part of the film and he also hinted that the reason behind her leaving the film is very very special. A marriage on the cards, maybe?

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas received much media attention during their recent visit to India where they were seen spending time together and making numerous appearances at many social events. They later went for a trip to Goa with Chopra’s family and relatives that also included actress Parineeti Chopra.

Bharat also stars Tabu, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover in pivotal roles with Salman Khan in the lead part. While Priyanka opts out of the film Salman Khan and Disha Patani has already begun the shooting for Bharat. The first schedule includes shooting for a grand circus sequence; Ali Abbas Zafar shared a sneak peek of the same on social media featuring Salman.
