The greatest invention or rather a business which has been growing faster like bolt speed is the ‘Reliance Jio’ network. Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited or Jio is an LTE mobile network operator in India. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries headquartered in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra that provides wireless 4G LTE service network (without 2G/3G-based services).
The services were first beta-launched to Jio’s partners and employees on 27 December 2015 on the eve of 83rd birth anniversary of late Dhirubhai Ambani, founder of Reliance Industries, and later services were commercially launched on 5th September 2016.
Reliance Jio has discreetly revamped its Rs 153 tariff plan. The new plan offers 1GB data per day and comes with a validity of 28 days. The new change comes in-line with company’s latest plan for prepaid users. Once the 1GB data will be over, the speed will come down to 64 Kbps. The offer given to Jio users was 500MB data for 28 days. Besides, the users also get unlimited voice calls without any FUP and 100 SMS per day for the entire validity period.
If a user wishes to continue the data speeds after consuming 1GB data, the company also has two sachet plans of Rs 24 and Rs 54, which offer 500MB data per day, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day for the validity period. The Rs 24 pack gives benefits for two days, while the Rs 54 plan offers benefits for seven days. This is quite a good news for the JioPhone users. India has more than 5.9 million Jio users and it’s quite astonishing! More power to Jio!
