Chennai woman bites off husband’s penis on getting caught with lover
A 45-year-old woman has been arrested by the Vellore Police for biting off a part of her husband’s penis. And the reason for this bizarre act was that her husband caught her with her lover in Thuraimoolai village near Gudiyatham in Vellore district.
According to TOI, the woman, Jayanthi, has been charged with attempt to murder according to a police officer. After the incident took place in the early hours of Monday, a bleeding Senthamarai and the severed part of his penis was taken to Vellore Government Hospital and then to Rajiv Gandhi Government Medical College by the villagers for advanced treatment.
Senthamarai and Jayanthi had taken part in a village temple festival on Sunday as a part of the auspicious Aadi month festivities. Going by the words of the officer, the two went for a street play after the event. Around 1.30am Jayanthi slipped out of the crowd on the pretext of needing to relieve herself. But an hour passed by and she did not which provoked Senthamarai to go in search for her. then he found her in a compromising position with another villager, Dhatchanamoorthi.
The officer said:
“Enraged, Senthamarai grabbed his wife and her lover and threatened to make their relationship public.”
“Noise from the festivities outside drowned out Dhatchanamoorthi’s cries for help”
He further stated:
“In the scuffle that ensued, Senthamarai’s dhoti fell off. Jayanthi, fearing she and her lover would be thrashed, wanted to escape before villagers reached the spot.”
“She bit his penis, severing part of it, and fled with her lover”
Senthamarai’s condition is now reported to be stable as the doctor’s at the Vellore Medical College gave him first aid before he was moved to Rajiv Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital in Chennai.
Jayanthi was tracked down by the Police by monitoring Dhatchanamoorthi’s cellphone. They registered a case under sections IPC Sections 294(b) (obscenity in public), 324 (causing hurt with dangerous weapons or means) and 307 (attempt to murder).
According to the Police, Jayanthi confessed to her crime and it remanded her in Vellore Central Prison for Women.
