Watch: BBC Reporter falls hilariously in the pool on live TV and the swimmers have a laugh
News reporters are known to be extremely smart people with the ability to grab one’s attention in seconds. Though the job requires an extreme amount of hard work and awareness, it is one of those jobs which people tend to enjoy. However, we are here to narrate you an incident where a presenter grabbed a million eyeballs rather hilariously.
Mike Bushell, BBC Breakfast’s Sports presenter gave us the kick for the day while interviewing the medal-winning swimmers of the England team. He gave us a moment of laughter when he fell into the pool with his equipment and on live TV!
Bushell had stepped into the water to question the swimmers and was already struggling with his sound pack. He took a step back without realizing that the water is not shallow anymore and fell right into the water. The reaction of the swimmers was noteworthy with all of them bursting out in laughter. Bushell’s sound pack also took a proper dip into the water.
This was one of the epic fails captured and of course, the internet can’t chill! BBC added some special effects to the clip and posted it on Twitter terming it as a ‘special moment’.
Here’s the video:
