1. Yellow Colour:

2. Green Colour:
While travelling if you come across a green colour strip on the milestones which means that you are travelling on the State Highways.
3. Black, Blue and White Colour:
If you stumble upon a black, blue or white colour milestone on the roadside, it means that you are travelling in a city or district.
4. Orange Colour:
Orange colour milestones are used in villages. These milestones are found on village roads that fall under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.
