WATCH: Team India set the stadium on fire with their post match celebration vs Kenya

India won the match 3-0.

India had comfortably defeated Chines Taipei 5-0 last week in the Intercontinental Cup with skipper Sunil Chhetri scoring an amazing hat-trick. Chhetri, right after the match had sent out a heartfelt video on popular social media website Twitter urging all the fans to turn up at the stadium for their upcoming fixtures and show their support towards Indian football which is reaching new heights.

It did not take much time for the Indian supporters to take notice of Chhetri’s plea and the tickets for India’s match against Kenya at the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai were sold out within a day. The Blue Tigers returned the favour in style by scripting a comfortable 3-0 victory against Kenya with Sunil Chhetri netting two this time.

Thousands of Indian fans came to witness the game and the players giving it all on the pitch. After the brilliant performance, the Indian team decided to pump up the crowd present in the stadium which was a moment to remember for a lifetime.

Led by defender Sandesh Jhingan, the Indian team went to the sidelines and cheered the crowd up for their enormous support towards the Indian team.

The crowd roared along with every clap from the players and we could smell a turning point in Indian football, which often gets overshadowed by the love for cricket in the country.

The Kerala Blasters defender then moved closer to the crowd and tapped the Indian crest which clearly portrayed his passion for the game and the country. Now if this does not give you goosebumps, what will?
