Virat Kohli abuse caught on stump mic, proves that he is a Delhi boy!
Virat Kohli used foul languages against the South African team while they were batting.
Virat Kohli is one of the best cricketers in the world and perhaps even the world and his loyal fan following is proof of the same. But there’s one thing that has gotten the man involved in several controversies in the past and that is his aggressive attitude on the field.
This is not the first time he has done the same. He was accused of using foul languages by Bangladesh pacer Rubel Hossain. Virat was batting when Rubel taunted his techniques. The Indian Captain, as we all know is not a man to back down so easily. He replied in typical Dilli ka Launda fashion, stating
“MKC teri, bowling kar!”
In an IPL game vs Kolkata Knight Riders, Virat, the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore had a bust up with KKR skipper Gautam Gambhir. After a heated exchange of words, play continued after a break of 15 minutes.
In the ongoing series against South Africa, the stump mics are a bit more sensitive and are catching almost everything the players say.
In the second test itself, these mics have recorded a lot of Desi chatter between the boys, with Virat being at the centre of it. The best one was when he was batting with Murali Vijay and India were 80-2.
Kohli can be clearly heard saying,
“AGAR SHAAM TAK KHELENGEY TOH INKI G**ND FAT JAYEGI”
A toned down translation of this is, “These guys will get scared if we continue to play until the evening.“
A literal translation would be, “These guys will have a pain in their ass if we continue to play until the evening.”

In fact, Indians do have a history of sledging players in a funny way as well. MS Dhoni used to sledge Pakistani players in English whenever Ravindra Jadeja came to bowl at the other end. It was because Dhoni knew most of the Pakistani players were unfamiliar with the English language. Kamran Akmal got a serious taste of this as he complained to the umpire about the situation. Of course he didn’t know what was going on ! But he got out the very next delivery. Middle stump shattered, ‘timber strikes’ as they say, India got the breakthrough.
Virat is known for his aggressive approach to the game, both as a captain and a player. He showed the middle finger to the English crown in Edgbaston some years back. Virat got suspended but made his feelings clear after the embarrassing defeat.
After this incident, we are guessing Virat is going to take extra care before saying anything during a match. Or maybe not. As long as he keeps kicking ass on field, all is well!
