Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami continues to go even deeper in the trouble hole with each passing day. Shami, who was held responsible for his wife for having extra-marital affairs was also kept out of the central contract by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Hasin Jahan, his wife also stated that the pacer’s family continued torture on her and even tried to take her life. The allegations were followed by a police complaint which was lodged at the Jadavpur Police Station in Kolkata, yesterday. However, Jahan is back today with another massive statement against the Bengal bowler.
The charges were filed under several Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections, including section 498A, which amounts to cruelty to a woman by her husband or his relatives. The other charges nailed on Shami are under Section 307 – attempt to murder, Section 323 – punishment for voluntarily causing hurt, Section 376 – rape, Section 506 – criminal intimidation, Section 328 and Section 34.
According to the DNA, Hasin Jahan’s latest statement highlights that Mohammed Shami wanted her to have physical relations with his brother. She added that the 28 year old sportstar had involved himself in physical activities with sex workers when on tours.
“Shami told me this outside the room and Hasib (Shami’s brother) was inside the room. Shami pushed me inside and locked the room. Hasib tried to misbehave with me. I screamed and then Shami opened the door,” Jahan told media on Friday.
Jahan is a divorcee with two daughters, one of which stays with her while the other one is pursuing education. According to Hasin, she tried her best to make her marriage with Shami work out.
I am not in touch with my first husband. Out of my two girls, one is staying with me while the other one is studying,” Jahan was quoted by the DNA.
