IPL 2018: Throwback to the ‘firsts’ of everything that has happened in the history of the tournament
The Indian Premier League (IPL) has come a long way since it’s inception in the year of 2008. The cash-rich fiesta has emerged to be the biggest T20 tournament in world cricket and is graced by the participation of the biggest stars in the fraternity. The 7th of April 2018 will see the tournament kick start it’s 11 edition with the Mumbai Indians as the defending Champions.
With the right proportion of entertainment and quality, the BCCI backed tournament has all the ingredients to keep the world hooked for the next two months. We have seen trailblazing performances with the ball and bat, bone shattering dives, otherworldly catches and most importantly a plethora of talented youngsters have been cultivated from the tournament.
