Indian skipper Virat Kohli is arguably the best cricketer in the world right now. He is playing at a very high level and the best part about his batting is his consistency. The right-hander is always among runs and has an excellent understanding of the gentleman’s game. Apart from being a wonderful batsman, Virat is also an aggressive captain and is doing pretty well leading the Indian side too.
There are many current and former cricketers who admire Virat Kohli’s talent and have praised him on social media. Joining the club is West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo who is currently playing for the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. Bravo showered praise on Kohli and seems to be a fan of Virat’s batting and has also advised his brother Darren to consult the Indian for some useful tips.
The Caribbean who has been in scintillating form for his franchise also called Kohli the ‘Cristiano Ronaldo of cricket’.
Dwayne Bravo quoted:
“It’s (equation with Virat is) good. Virat actually played under-19 (cricket) with my younger brother Darren and I always tell my brother that Virat is a person he shall look up to, I am not saying that because I am here”
“I actually asked Virat to talk to my brother personally about batting, about cricket. When I see Virat, I see Cristiano Ronaldo of cricket.”
Dwayne further added:
“For me as a cricket player to play against him and to watch him play when he represents India, even RCB, I admire the talent that he has, the passion he has for the game, for the sport when he plays. So hats off to him and he deserve all the achievement”
