After Kylian Mbappe, Neymar vows to stay at PSG amidst Real Madrid links
With the iconic Cristiano Ronaldo finding a new home in Juventus, Spanish giants Real Madrid has been left in shock. The talisman’s mind-boggling move to Turin means that Florentino Perez has no choice but to spend big bucks on a worthy replacement before the start of the new season.
Quite expectedly, the club has shortlisted three massive names who could be the deserving successor for Ronaldo, who was nothing short of a revolution for the Los Blancos. The names who have been chosen by the club as their primary targets are Frenchman Kylian Mbappe, Chelsea wonderboy Eden Hazard and of course, Neymar Junior of Brazil.
However, going by the current situation in the transfer market, things are falling apart for Madrid. While PSG starlet Kylian Mbappe, who brought the roof down at the recently concluded FIFA World Cup, had already confirmed his PSG stay earlier, it is now Neymar, who has vowed to stay in Paris.
According to Goal.com, Neymar, at his charitable “Instituto Neymar’ auction gala, told Fox Sports,
“I’ll stay. I have a contract with PSG and I’ve chosen to be there for the challenge, for new things and higher goals.”
“I won’t change my head about it. I hope we can have a successful season, with new silverware, too. The press enjoys creating rumours, but everyone knows how much I care about PSG.”
With the PSG duo rubbishing reports of their departure, Real Madrid has no choice but to land Eden Hazard from Chelsea. It is to be noted that the Premier League Club has put a £200 million price tag on their main man.
