Wildlife parks or safari parks are one of the most common places of entertainment which you will find in any itinerary of a country or city you have always wanted to visit. But not all safari parks are the same. They differ in terms of how big the park is, which are the animals present there and many more factors. Safety of the visitors is a very big responsibility for these safari park authorities. One callus behavior or avoided precaution can lead you into the questionable dilemma of life and death.
Just like a few weeks back we read a news where a giraffe barged into a car, by breaking its windows because it was hungry. However, something similar but yet more dangerous happened this time.
This time in an incident that took place at the Beekse Bergen Safari Park, Netherlands, a family of presumably three, including a child was chased by deadly cheetahs. The incident that almost turned fatal for the family was captured by someone and now has over 2.5 million views on YouTube.
The family was seen feeding the cheetahs as a part of ‘entertainment’ in the safari park when the cheetahs themselves got agitated and started chasing the family. Two members of the family ran down a grassy verge back to the car as a cheetah ran past them to join another of the big cats that appeared to be chasing a small child. The woman then scooped up the child up before herself making it back to the car followed by another member of the group.
Entire incident was filmed by Robin de Graaf who was also visiting the park in the south of the country. Here’s the video and few pictures from that video.

The incident is definitely spine-chilling and gave us goosebumps.
