Bollywood superstar Salman Khan had a wonderful ending to last year with his film’ Tiger Zinda Hai’ smashing all the records. After his first film of 2017 ‘Tubelight’ failed to make an impact on the audience, his fans wanted the actor to come back with a bang. And Salman delivered just what his fans demanded as he returned with an absolute blockbuster.
However, Salman did not have a good start to 2018 as he was handed a five-year jail sentence for the alleged killing of two blackbucks 20 years back. But much to the joy of his supporters Salman got the much-needed bail and is now back to shooting for one of his upcoming movies ‘Bharat’.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is an official adaptation of 2014 South Korean film Ode to My Father. In the film, Salman has been paired with one of the leading divas of Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka looked super excited about the movie and we could make that out clearly from her statement.
Priyanka quoted at a press conference:
“Bharat it is! I’m looking forward to begin shooting this film and working with Salman and Ali again after a considerable time. I’ve learnt a lot from them in our previous collaborations and am excited to see what this one has to offer. I’m also looking forward to working with Alvira and Atul (Agnihotri, Salman’s sister and brother-in-law and film’s producers) and the entire team of Bharat. To all my well-wishers who’ve been so patient and supportive… thank you for your constant support and I’ll see you all at the movies.”
Director Ali Abbas Zafar took to Twitter and shared a picture from the sets of ‘Bharat’.
