In some earlier interviews, Priya Varrier had claimed to be a major fan of Ranveer Singh. Looks like her dream of acting alongside Ranveer is about to be fulfilled if rumors are anything to go by. The 18-year-old internet sensation may have landed a role in Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Simmba’.

Most actresses would give anything to be part of such a film, but if a report in Deccan Chronicle is to be believed, newbie Priya Prakash Varrier has beaten them to it. Priya became a household name earlier this year, after her charming smile and wink in a song from her debut Malayalam film took the internet by storm.

The 18-year-old shot to viral fame in hours and had filmmakers queueing up outside her door. Apparently, Karan Johar, who is co-producing Simmba, is keen to have her on board for the film. Incidentally, Priya is a fan of Ranveer Singh and has expressed interest in working with him in several interviews.

Reports state that the actress has landed a role opposite him in the Rohit Shetty directorial. Her role is not too big in the film, but Bollywood is interested in her on account of her popularity and Karan Johar, the film’s co-producer looks forward to making the most of her instant fame.

When she winked the whole of the Internet came crashing down making the Malayalam actress Priya Prakash Varrier an instant celebrity. The video clip that she was a part of was later made into a string of memes, social media posts etc. Now, according to reports Varrier is all set to make her maiden steps into Bollywood.

Reports claim that the Oru Adaar Love actress is being considered to star opposite Ranveer Singh in the upcoming Rohit Shetty film, Simmba.

Simmba is a joint venture between Shetty and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions that would star Ranveer as an uncanny cop. The film is touted to be flavored with all the elements that make for a quintessential Shetty entertainer.

Moreover, Karan Johar is the dream launch pad for any new comer in Bollywood. Starting from Rani Mukerji (Kuch Kuch Hota Hai) to Alia Bhatt (Student of the Year) and now Janhvi Kapoor (Dhadak), Johar has been instrumental in making their presence felt in the Bollywood filmdom.
