Bollywood actor Neeraj Vora passes away at 54
This year it has been a great loss for Indian cinema as the legendary Shashi Kapoor passed away last week. And now, there is more bad news for the industry as Neeraj Vora passes away at the age of 54.
Neeraj was in coma for almost a year and took his last breath on Thursday morning. He died today at 3am in the Criti Care hospital in Juhu. He was living in Firoz Nadiadwala’s place until his condition deteriorated and was taken to the Criti Care hospital.
Ashok Pandit quoted indianexpress.com “Neeraj Vora died today at 3 am in Criti Care hospital in Juhu. He had been in coma and living at Firoz Nadiadwala’s place. When his condition deteriorated in the night, he was taken to the hospital, where he breathed his last.”
Neeraj Vora was an outstanding actor and has worked in a lot of films which have gone on to do well in the box office. Some of his most remembered films include Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Akele Hum Akele Tum, Virasat, Mann, Satya, Mast, Pukar and Company.
Apart from being an actor Neeraj was also a prolific writer. He began his career as a writer in the 90’s for TV show Circus which also starred the ‘Baadshah’ of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan. In the 1995 Aamir Khan starrer Rangeela he made his mark in the Bollywood industry as a writer and also acted in the film.
The talented artist was last seen on screen in the film Welcome Back (2015). Last year Neeraj announced hera Pheri 3 but unfortunately could not complete the making of the film as he suffered a heart attack. It is a moment of sadness for the whole industry as a talented individual who had contributed to the growth of the same passed away at the age of 54.
