Hollywood artist Robert Pattinson claims how he wanted to discard his London home and showed his keen interest in living in a camper van.
The Twilight hero, Pattinson has always wanted to lead a life full of adventure. The 31 year old hero has worked in movies like “Water for Elephants”, “Cosmopolis”, “The Rover” and “Good Time” but became popular for his cast in the Twilight series and for his role as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
He reveals how he goes around east London on his pushbike when he is not working on any movie.
He almost made a white stealth Van which is like a caravanette that provides sleeping accommodation too. He considered it to be his full time home, a house in disguise for him. He had to put down his decision of choosing to stay in a van because of the insurance issues that he was facing as his movies were not getting much reviews reported Contactmusic.
“I go around on my bike, so I’m basically a ghost. I nearly did it, I was 100 per cent going to live in a van, but not just any van – a stealth van! It’s a special niche, not like living in a trailer” quoted Pattinson when he was interviewed by Esquire UK magazine.
Stealth vans are like any other transit vans which are self propelled. Even if those vans are parked on the side of a street with a sign board indicating it is a plumber van, no one would notice it said Robert Pattinson. He believes, this would allow him to leave the place at will and allow him to go anywhere at night or maybe drive to Nebraska. According to the star, he would love to to live his life that way.
He added “I’m still young, this is my chance…”
This clearly shows his wish of leading life in an exultant way. He wants to enjoy life in his own way.
The only reason he didn’t go with this plan was his insurance concerns as said before.
He also said “Once you build a toilet and shower yourself, you can’t get it insured and blah, blah, blah.”
